HeightMax — Terms of Use

Effective May 18, 2026.

These Terms govern your use of the HeightMax iOS app ("HeightMax"). By installing or using HeightMax you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. What HeightMax does, and does not, do

HeightMax analyzes a full-body photo you choose and returns a "Height Perception Score" that estimates how the photo reads in terms of posture, framing, and proportions. The score and recommendations describe the photo — they are not a medical assessment, they do not measure your real height, and they are not a substitute for professional advice. The enhancement preview is a stylistic re-render and does not change your physical appearance.

2. Eligibility

HeightMax is rated 4+ but is not directed at children under 13. By using the app you represent that you are at least 13 years old.

3. Your photos

You keep all rights to the photos you choose. By selecting a photo for analysis you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to transmit and process that single photo for the sole purpose of returning your analysis result, as further described in our Privacy Policy. We do not store your photos and we do not use them to train any AI model.

You must not submit photos of anyone other than yourself unless you have their permission, and you must not submit photos that depict minors, nudity, or content that violates Apple's App Store Content Guidelines.

4. In-app purchases and subscriptions

HeightMax offers the following purchases through Apple's StoreKit:

HeightMax Lifetime — one-time purchase. Unlocks unlimited watermark-free exports and the full style guide for the life of your Apple ID's entitlement.
HeightMax Weekly — auto-renewing subscription billed weekly to your Apple ID. Cancel anytime in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions; cancellation stops the next renewal but does not refund the current period.
Single Photo Export — one-time purchase that unlocks a watermark-free export of one photo.

Subscriptions automatically renew at the same price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Payment is charged to your Apple ID. Apple's standard refund policy applies; we are not able to process refunds ourselves.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to circumvent the app's entitlement checks or quota limits.
Submit content you do not have the right to submit, or content that is illegal, harassing, or hateful.
Use the app or its API in a way that interferes with other users or with our service providers.

6. Service providers

HeightMax relies on third-party services, including Google's Gemini API, Supabase, RevenueCat, and Apple. Outages or changes at those providers may interrupt the app. Our Privacy Policy identifies each provider and what data they receive.

7. Disclaimers

HeightMax is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the analysis is accurate, that the app will be uninterrupted, or that the results will meet any particular goal. The app is not medical, psychological, or fitness advice.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the app is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

9. Termination

You may stop using HeightMax at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. We will update the "Effective" date above and present material changes in-app the next time you open the app.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York, except where prohibited by your local consumer law.
